Create Your Google Analytics Account<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To set up your GA (Google Analytics) account, you\u2019ll first need to log in to your Google account. If you don\u2019t yet have a Google account, you will need to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/intl\/en-GB\/account\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"Google account\">create one<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Once you are signed in to your Google Account, redirect to the <a href=\"https:\/\/analytics.google.com\/analytics\/web\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"Google Analytics account\">Google Analytics account<\/a> creation page and click \u201cStart measuring\u201d button.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn2.magerubik.com\/media\/knowledge\/welcome-google-analytics.jpg\" alt=\"Welcome to Google Analytics\"><\/figure>\n<p>You will be taken to the account creation page where you will be asked to complete information entries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Account setup<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn2.magerubik.com\/media\/knowledge\/google-analytics-account-setup.jpg\" alt=\"Google Analytics Account setup\"><\/figure>\n<p>Provide your company name then click <strong>\u201cnext\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Property setup<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn2.magerubik.com\/media\/knowledge\/google-analytics-property-setup.jpg\" alt=\"Google Analytics Property setup\"><\/figure>\n<p>Enter Your Property Details then click <strong>\u201cnext\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About Your Business<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn2.magerubik.com\/media\/knowledge\/google-analytics-about-business.jpg\" alt=\"Google Analytics About Your Business\"><\/figure>\n<p>The final GA account setup step is to provide some straightforward details about your business, such as Industry Category, business size, and how do you intend to use Google Analytics with your business.<\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>\u201cCreate\u201d<\/strong> after selecting all the relevant options to create GA4 and Universal Analytics Property.<\/p>\n<p>After, you will be asked to read and accept Google Analytics\u2019 terms of service. Now Click <strong>\u201cI Accept\u201d<\/strong> then arrive at your GA dashboard.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h3\"><strong>2. Set Up Your Data Stream<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You will be prompted to set up the data stream flow the first time you visit the GA4 dashboard.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn2.magerubik.com\/media\/knowledge\/google-analytics-data-stream.jpg\" alt=\"Google Analytics Data Stream\"><\/figure>\n<p>Select the <strong>\u201cWeb\u201d<\/strong> option, then you will go to an interface to add your domain URL and name your data stream.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn2.magerubik.com\/media\/knowledge\/google-analytics-data-stream-info.jpg\" alt=\"Google Analytics Data Stream Info\"><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Enhanced Measurements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In GA4, Google has predefined a number of advanced metrics to measure, in addition to the &#8220;standard&#8221; metrics. Start Collecting Data From Your Website<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Since your data stream is the gateway to your GA4 portal to actually collect data from your site and send it there, you need to add the Analytics tag to your web pages.<\/p>\n<p>From the above flow details click on &#8220;View tag instructions&#8221; to get the Google Analytics 4 tracking code (gtag.js)<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn2.magerubik.com\/media\/knowledge\/google-analytics-tracking-code.jpg\" alt=\"Google Analytics tracking code\"><\/figure>\n<p>Now, login to <span class=\"code\">Admin Panel<\/span> then go to <span class=\"code\">Content &gt; Configuration<\/span> Then choose store need add GA4.
